Auditions

The All-East/All-State auditions are the first step for admission into the All-East and All-State Choruses for students in grades 10-12. The top-scoring student in each voice part is awarded the annual ETVA scholarship. The auditions provide an opportunity for students to distinguish themselves in a private audition and are good practice for future scholarship and college-entrance auditions.

The ETVA membership voted in the Fall 2009 meeting to implement addition of a sight-reading element into the All-East/All-State audition process beginning in Fall 2010. Auditions for the 2011-12 year will be held on September 17. 2011 at Heritage High School, Maryville. Please check the ETVA calendar regularly for updated information.
